Nuestra propuesta de que la mujer es: portadora de paz, maestra de misericordia, comunicadora de calor y humanidad, expresión de amor permanente, incondicional y gratuito; nos llega también con este testimonio, que es una forma de expresión especial de esta realidad.

Sr. Gaudia Skass born in Warsaw, Poland joined the Congregation of Our Lady of Mercy (www.faustyna.pl) in 2005, after graduating the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. Sister has been working for five years in the Faustinum Association spreading the Message of Mercy at the Shrine of Divine Mercy in Cracow as well as in other countries. Sr. Gaudia’s duties involve cooperating with the media, appearing on TV programmes, writing articles and speaking at congresses to bring God’s merciful love closer to the world.

The heart of my vocation and my happiness is Jesus Christ, the relation with Him. I’ve chosen the path of religious life because it is focused on Him. I’ve chosen a very concrete path – in the Congregation, which center is Merciful Jesus. Everyday I meditate upon the mystery of Divine

Mercy, which has always moved the very depths of me, though I wasn’t aware of that at the beginning, I couldn’t name that. Being a part of this Congregation gives me a great opportunity of coming to know God and with every day there is more and more of amazement and admiration in me. I admire Jesus whom I come to know reading the Bible. I admire Jesus whom I come to know through the pages of Saint Faustina’s “Diary”. I admire Jesus whom I discover in the history of my life and in the silence of my heart.

The awareness of Jesus’ constant presence with me is the answer to the burning needs of my woman’s heart – the need for relationship and love, the need for safety and belonging, and even more…

I’m in the Congregation of Our Lady of Mercy, and from her I learn how to give Jesus especially to those most wounded and lost. I hope that slowly I mature (grow up) to the spiritual maternity – to a selfless gift out of my life. To be for others like Merciful Jesus – this is the top (summit) of desires (ver traducción en español).

Ayúdame, oh Señor, a que mis manos sean misericordiosas y llenas de buenas obras para que sepa hacer sólo el bien a mi prójimo y cargue sobre mí las tareas más difíciles y más penosas.

Ayúdame a que mis pies sean misericordiosos para que siempre me apresure a socorrer a mi prójimo, dominando mi propia fatiga y mi cansancio. Mi reposo verdadero está en el servicio a mi prójimo.

Ayúdame, oh Señor, a que mi corazón sea misericordioso para que yo sienta todos los sufrimientos de mi prójimo. A nadie le rehusaré mi corazón. Seré sincera incluso con aquellos de los cuales sé que abusarán de mi bondad. Y yo misma me encerraré en el misericordiosísimo Corazón de Jesús. Soportaré mis propios sufrimientos en silencio. Que tu misericordia, oh Señor mío, repose dentro de mí.
